Truly Happy
Just attended Siwei's birthday celebration.. as usual there was so much sabotaging and teasing. I think the best part was Siwei's touching speech that nearly made us all cry..especially the wish that he made. I am thankful that I am able to know this bunch of marketing people.. they are really friendly and nice and I always enjoyed myself each outing I have with them. Although I have a different specialisation from them, I always feel welcomed and at ease with them. I guess it has become a habit to mingle with them.. hahaha.Today's a very special day for me. The Annual General Meeting that I helped to organise was a great success!!! We exceeded our quorum and everything went smoothly. The boss was so pleased with our performance. What surprised me was that two shareholders actually remembered my name and requested to talk to me. They are husband and wife and specially came to attend the AGM but were late and missed it. They apologised to me and explained to me why they were late. I was very surprised by their apology.. they have no obligation to apologise to me. They are such nice people!!! so polite!! I am truly impressed by them.. finally there are some angels around. My CEO happened to be there too and my boss introduced me to her.. hah I thought I heard her say very good.. hahaha. I know I have done a great job organising this AGM, I have learnt a lot from this experience and I am pleased to say that I am very proud of myself. Finally after weeks of calling shareholders and preparing attendance lists.. I have seen my efforts materialise. ok.. sweet dreams tonight..
